Email Track & Trace in Symantec.cloud

The Symantec.cloud Portal contains an "Email Track & Trace" facility that is very useful in checking whether and individual message or a number of messages were blocked by the Anti-Spam or Anti-Virus filters, delivered successfully, or never received in the first place.

You can track messages as follows:

  • Log in to the Symantec.cloud Portal
  • Click "Tools" -> "Email Track & Trace"
  • Enter the sender of the message (if known)
  • Enter the recipient of the message (if known) you can check for all recipients by entering *@yourdomain.ie
  • Select the time and/or date range to search (you can search up to 30 days in the past).
  • Optionally you can search for emails containing specific words in the subject or attachment names.
  • Click "Search" to begin the search - it may take a few minutes.
  • Optionally, you can have the search result emailed to you.
